What she says...
Sagar has been moving west his entire life. Born in Khambat, Gujarat, he moved to New Jersey at the age of two. After high school, he moved to Chicago for his Bachelors from Illinois Institute of Technology and his Masters in Accounting from DePaul University. After graduate school, Sagar moved to Colorado for his job with Hewlett Packard. He now lives in downtown Denver.
Having known Sagar while he was in school and the shenanigans he would get up to, I am impressed by the dedication Sagar shows to his job. Sagar currently works as a Business Development Manager for HP’s printing group. I can’t claim to understand it all, it has a lot to do with spreadsheets, phone calls, and travel, but I can say that if I got to work from home I probably wouldn’t be as diligent as Sagar is.
Sagar spent his childhood helping his dad in their video store. He is a complete movie buff, not just Hindi movies, but English, Spanish, Italian, he watches them all. Just be careful if you ever watch a movie with him because you will learn more about movie trivia, camera angles, and the effect of music than you will about the storyline. Aside from movies, Sagar also has a passion for photography. You never have to worry about not having pictures from an event, because if Sagar is there, chances are you will have hundreds.
The thing I love most about Sagar is just how goofy he is. He rarely cares what other people think, which is evident if you have ever seen his crazy dance moves. Truly a kid at heart, he loves to have fun and goes out of his way to help his friends. I consider myself lucky to be his best friend.
what the boys say...
Sagar is one of the most positive and uplifting people I know. No matter what situation he finds himself in, he never quits on himself or on any of his friends. That positivity has helped him grow into the man he is today, and pushed him along the way to marrying such a wonderful woman. He’s someone who has always dreamt big, and has always done anything he could to achieve not only his dreams, but to also help his friends achieve their dreams. When I told Sagar I was going to drive across the country to see a girl I had never met before, instead of calling me insane (as other friends did), he immediately said “I’m coming with you.” He’s always jumped at the opportunity to take part in a love story, and today I’m glad I get to be a part of his.

What do I say about "this guy" in a small blurb here! He is a guy filled with emotions and sometimes finds them hard to control ;) Beware Surbhi, he has so much affection for me that he's forcefully kissed me on the cheeks many times. He has a loving and caring nature. He always sticks around and has Plan A, B and C for each step of his life. When he is around, he ensures to spread joy & happiness. Knowing him for many, many years and the qualities he has, Surbhi I am so happy that you chose a man that comes with a lifetime guarantee of fun-filled married life ahead!

It’s a bit hard to summarize Sagar in a paragraph. Growing up less than an hour apart in NJ, it is ironic that we never met until we both moved 800 miles away to Chicago. Sagar had beat me to Chicago by a few years and learned the city inside out, which was perfect for me because I was clueless when I arrived. The following 8 months after we met (special thanks to Nishant for the intro) can only be described as epic. From the random drives, to the late nights, to stolen cars, to all the new friend... we have some great stories. To this day nothing has really changed outside of the fact that we live in different states, are a few years older and a few pounds heavier. The few times a year we meet up are always looked upon with anticipation. Now that Surbhi is in the picture, I’m sure I have fallen a few notches on the priority list but its okay, she makes him much happier than I ever will. I wish you and Surbhi a loving and happy marriage and only the best of luck!

The very first visual memory I have of Sagar is him sleeping in our history class with his head down, drool coming from his mouth. I can go on and on writing funny stuff about Sagar. You see, Sagar and I have a special type of friendship; the type that I rarely see others having. It has always been more than friendship and family between us. I'm impressed by the dedication that Sagar shows to Surbhi and his desire to bring her happiness. I am proud of the man he has become. This blurb is so cheesy that I am going to make it worse by writing a poem:
"You and I are friends. You laugh, I laugh. You cry, I cry. You scream, I scream. You run, I run. You jump, I jump. You jump off a bridge... I'm going to miss you buddy" :)

I met Sagar when I was in college and while he was still acting like a little boy. Luckily I have known him long enough to see him become a man. He is a unique individual and I wasn't sure he would find anyone who could match his spirit but as soon as Surbhi came along I knew she would be the one to tame this tiger ;) All jokes aside, Surbhi is an amazing woman who has wonderful qualities that any man would fall for, and Sagar is a man with a big heart and a lot of love to share. These two are unstoppable, fully compatible, and so in love; they are a couple destined for great things together. I have spent enough time with both of them to create some great memories and to be able to say confidently that these two were meant for each other. Congrats to the both of you and I wish you two an amazing journey into married life!

I have known Sagar for a few years now and I have to say I’m impressed Surbhi has found someone that complements her so well. Sagar is very caring and thoughtful, always checking up on me and making sure he knows what is going on in my life. Even when Surbhi is super busy, Sagar makes sure to talk to me and keep me updated on what is going on in Denver. He is such a fun loving and outgoing person that it did not take long for us to become friends. Luckily, he is also able to use this side of him to calm Surbhi down when she needs to be reminded that life’s too short to not be silly sometimes. I love having someone to tease Surbhi with or plan fun trips with. Even when Surbhi and Sagar were just friends, he always treated me like his own little sister, willing to help out with whatever he could. Since I was little I always wanted an older brother and I’m so excited to finally have one!

I was with Surbhi the night she met Sagar. Over the years I've gotten to know Sagar pretty well and can honestly say he is the most emotional guy I've ever met. Just kidding Sagar! Sagar is the type of guy who can meet any random person and strike up a two hour long conversation. He's so easy to talk to and cares a lot for every single person in his life (and yes this includes the random stranger he met 5 minutes ago). When Surbhi was in law school, she would be busy studying and Sagar and I got pretty close. I think we bonded over teasing Surbhi about one thing or another :P I'm so happy the two of them found each other and cannot wait for all the exciting festivities ahead!

Even though we haven't gotten to spend that much time together (yet!), you must be pretty great for agreeing to take on everything and everyone that Surbhi comes with. You are going to be joining the potluck family which means spending every new years with us as well as always bringing your A game on the dance floor. Yes, I do mean always! Sagar's fun outlook and energetic attitude towards life is admirable. He is a very hard worker, yet knows how to enjoy every aspect of life. I love that he is very caring and kind in everything that he does and to everyone he meets. He has a genuine quality to him that is truly priceless, and this is what makes him such a good friend to everyone!

Its easy to see how Surbhi fell for this suave guy. He is a great guy all round and a true friend. Sagar and I go way back and I can honestly say that they are good for each other.
